Dopo aver conseguito il prestigioso diploma di Graduate Gemologist G.I.A. ha avuto la rara possibilità di arricchire le conoscenze su questa gemma e sulla sua commercializzazione direttamente in territorio colombiano.
Oggi Agalmata è uno dei maggiori distributori italiani all’ingrosso di smeraldi colombiani,dalla singola gemma,layout e pariglie,la società dispone di un vasto inventario per soddisfare le esigenze specifiche del mercato globale.
Manteniamo stretti rapporti con Gubelin,SSEF,G.I.A. e altri laboratori riconosciuti a livello internazionale grazie ai quali ogni pietra viene accompagnata da un dettagliato rapporto di conferma riguardo l’origine e l’eventuale trattamento della stessa.
Non ultimo,in merito alla squisita manifattura contraddistinta dalla sapiente tradizione del design made in Italy,si realizzano montati esclusivi volti ad enfatizzare l’unicità di ogni smeraldo selezionato.

Giancarlo Bresso, founder of Agalmata , has been operating and trading in the Colombian emeralds field since 1997, thanks to both a deep knowledge of the subject, and to several generations of family passion.
Following his Graduate Gemologist G.I.A. degree, he was presented with the rare opportunity to enrich his knowledge on this gem and its market directly on Colombian grounds.
Today Agalmata is one of the major Italian wholesale distributors for Colombian emeralds; from the single gem to layout and pairing, the Company owns a vast inventory in order to satisfy all specific needs of the market worldwide.
We hold strong partnerships with Gueblin, SSEF, G.I.A. and other worldwide recognized laboratories thanks to whom each gem is accompanied by a detailed confirmation report on its origin and its eventual treatment process.
Last but not least, with regards to the exquisite production which is distinguished by the skillful Made in Italy design tradition, we create exclusive mountings aimed at emphasizing the uniqueness of each and every selected emerald.
